In 1998 a small group of avid military vehicle owners saw the need to establish an organized group to help preserve and promote these historic vehicles in the State of Rhode Island. From these simple beginnings the club today is made up of 100 members from almost all walks of life. Our membership includes accountants, teachers, salesmen, small business owners, mechanics, contractors, students, etc.
To accomplish our mission RIMVCC conducts monthly meetings, makes appearances at parades and veterans functions, has trail rides, and organizes the annual military vehicle show at the Quonset Industrial Park in North Kingston, RI.
All of the vehicles are privately owned and have been restored by the members themselves. However, you do not need to own a vehicle or be a veteran to join. All you need to join is a desire to help preserve these historic vehicles.
We are a family club. We encourage our members to bring their family members to club events. (This does not mean that you must have a family to join.) If you are interested in joining please see the application page.
